Welcome to the fourth annual Beach Lax Festival. This is a competitive lacrosse tournament for boys ages of 7/8 through 13/14. There will be an A and B division at each age group. (See Team & Coach Information for age group breakdown.) Rules and referees will be the same as used in the Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (http://mylalax.com) unless otherwise noted. All divisions will play 10 man lacrosse with the exception of the 7/8 B division which will play with seven players to a side.

The Beach Lax Festival will be held at North Worcester Sports Complex and Berlin Intermediate School - both in Berlin, MD. This is a ten minute drive from Ocean City, MD. Every effort will be made to schedule games to allow ample time for all the beach related activities. There will be a LaxZone at the fields with vendors, food, music and other great stuff.

REGISTRATION FEE

$600.00 per team

Registration fee includes all referee fees, 18 Warrior Beach Lax Festival 2009 T- Shirts (t-shirts for additional players and coaches may be purchased at the tournament), and trophies for championship and runner-up teams (20 per team).

No teams will be scheduled without the registration fee paid. The tournament will fill quickly so please register early.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER MAY 8, 2009.

All teams should register for the most appropriate division based on their skill level. The goal for each team should be to enjoy a competitive tournament, not to be dominant in a weaker division.

All teams must submit a roster on the team roster form to info@beachlaxfestival.com. The roster can also be mailed on one sheet of 8 ½” x 11” paper that includes player’s name, jersey number, phone, complete address, date of birth and parent’s email address. Rosters must be received by May 15, 2009. If complete roster is not received by May 15, 2009 the team may forfeit its spot in the tournament and have it registration returned. Archiva Sports has partnered with Aloha Tournaments to be their exclusive video content provider for all 2008 Lacrosse Events.

Archiva Sports will have a minimum of 6 video cameras recording games at North Worcester Sports Complex throughout the tournmament. Players and families will be able to order DVDs and or subscribe to editing services provided by Archiva Sports for select games throughout the tournament.
